Firstly, you should look at the social life of the child at school. You should look of there have been any fights or quarrels between your child and his/her classmates. If there are any fights, talk to the school counsellor to resolve the issue. You can as well try to bring peace between the by reconciling them. You should look if the school has any history of bullying instances. If a child is consistently bullied, he/she will be afraid to go to the same school as this creates constant fear in the child. Informing the management about the bullying in the school will be a good action, so that the management can punish or suspend the bullies.
Secondly, you should check the performance of your child at school. You should look at his/her report cards and see the progress of your child. It is also good to check the homework and how your child performs in those homework. See the areas your child performs well and congratulate him/her to give the child morale. You should assist your child where she did not perform well to expectations, The help a child gets from his/her parent in doing some of the homework or projects will help boost his/her morale. You should encourage your child if he/she did not perform well that there is always a next time.
